I’m Gabriel Balogun…
- I don’t feel like I am living the life that I thought I’d be living when I was quite young…
- Would I ever be attractive enough to the opposite sex… (Yea, deep thoughts)
- Would people ever respect me enough to give me their attention…
- I’m competent/qualified enough, but why are opportunities skidding off with lighting bolt speed around me.. (my epic problem)
…and this made me feel very miserable. Until something changed…
…or to be more precise, I changed. And that’s what I’m here to tell you about.
You see, over the last few years, I stumbled upon a revelation and I took back my life (more on that in a minute).
As much as I tried to conjure a terrible past, I really didn’t have one, so to say. I had an awesome childhood, loving parents and I virtually lived on the other side of life’s coin (the side of milk and honey)…
…but things changed drastically for me one day in September of 2014 when my father died. Everything that I had ever worried about happening…happened. And it forced me to take a hard look at my life… and I realized I was going to have to change everything if I was ever going to have a legacy.
“IT’S NOT WHAT YOU ARE THAT HOLDS YOU BACK, IT’S WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE NOT” .
the key to attracting opportunities to sell oneself, product and services was not just being qualified (competent) but also looking like one who was qualified.
This became my biggest mission when I set up PERSONAGE. It was to make other people look qualified enough to attract opportunities which will enable them, to live their best lives filled with happiness, love and satisfaction. And that is still my biggest mission today.
This is the result of what I’ve learned, not just by reading and listening, but by trying things for myself. By experimenting with my own life. By constantly refining and trying to get a little bit better each day.
And this was achieved by implementing small changes. Small changes that had a HUGE impact on my life.
Friend, you just have to be willing to start. You have to want to be a little bit better. To live just a little bit more of your life. It’s never too late.
